Privacy Policy for Wallivex

In a nutshell:
Wallivex is a purely local Android security application designed to monitor and restrict network access for installed apps. Wallivex operates no external servers, stores no connection logs outside your device, and transmits zero data to AppsMakerDeluxe or third parties.

1. Data Controller

The responsible controller for data processing under GDPR and international privacy regulations is:

AppsMakerDeluxe
Developer Support: appsmakerdeluxe@gmail.com

2. Use of Android VpnService (Prominent Disclosure)

Wallivex utilizes Android’s official VpnService strictly for the purpose of establishing an on-device local firewall:

  • No Remote VPN Server: Your network traffic is never routed to external proxy or VPN servers. The tunnel remains 100% local on your device.
  • Per-App Routing: Traffic from apps you allow bypasses the firewall directly through your hardware network interface (Wi-Fi or Cellular).
  • Blocking Untrusted Apps: Packets from apps you designate as blocked are discarded locally within the device, preventing background telemetry or unwanted data transmission.
  • Encrypted DNS Protection: If you choose a private DNS profile (such as AdGuard DNS or Cloudflare), DNS requests are sent to the provider's IP to block ad and tracker domains.

3. Core Principles & Data Minimization

The app Wallivex (Package name: com.appsmakerdeluxe.wallivex) adheres strictly to Privacy by Design:

  • Zero Analytics: No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or tracking SDKs are integrated.
  • Zero Ads: Completely ad-free experience.
  • No Account: No sign-up or profile creation required.
  • Local Storage: Your blocking rules and preferences reside exclusively in your device's local Android DataStore.

4. Required Android Permissions

Wallivex requests only the essential permissions necessary for its firewall capabilities:

  • android.permission.BIND_VPN_SERVICE: Enables creation of the local protection tunnel, requiring one-time system consent.
  • android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Keeps protection active in the background and displays live status in your notification drawer.
  • android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Restores firewall protection automatically after reboot if enabled.
  • android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Displays the ongoing protection status on Android 13+.

5. Data Flow Overview

  • Deletion: Uninstalling the application or clearing app storage in Android Settings completely erases all rules and preferences.
  • Inquiries: Feel free to reach out to us at any time with questions about privacy or functionality.
